Refund Policy

NO REFUNDS POLICY
All purchases made on PayToWin are final and non-refundable under any circumstances. By making a purchase, you acknowledge and accept this policy.
1. No Refunds
PayToWin operates a strict NO REFUNDS policy. Once a payment is processed and points are awarded to your account, the transaction is final and cannot be reversed.
2. Why No Refunds?
This policy exists because:
- Digital goods (points, status, rankings) are delivered instantly upon payment
- The nature of the game is explicitly pay-to-win - this is advertised clearly
- Your purchase directly affects the leaderboard and other players' rankings
- Virtual items have no inherent monetary value and cannot be "returned"
3. What Is NOT Refundable
No refunds will be issued for:
- Change of mind - You decided you don't want to play anymore
- Buyer's remorse - You regret your purchase
- Accidental purchases - You clicked the wrong button
- Being outranked - Another player paid more and surpassed you
- Game mechanics - You disagree with how points or rankings work
- Service changes - We modify features, prices, or game rules
- Account issues - Your account is suspended or terminated for violations
- Technical issues - Temporary service disruptions or bugs
- Username disputes - Another user has a similar name
- Service discontinuation - PayToWin shuts down
4. Before You Purchase
Please consider the following before making any payment:
- PayToWin is a satirical game about pay-to-win mechanics
- The entire point is that people who pay more win - this is intentional
- Your ranking can and will change as other players make purchases
- Points and virtual items have no real-world value
- There is no gameplay beyond purchasing points and appearing on a leaderboard
- We may change, modify, or discontinue the service at any time
5. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks
Initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider may result in immediate account termination.
- Chargebacks are considered fraudulent disputes given our clear no-refund policy
- Your account, username, points, and founder status will be permanently deleted
- You will be banned from creating new accounts
- We may take legal action to recover costs associated with fraudulent chargebacks
6. Payment Errors
If you are charged but do NOT receive your points, contact us immediately through the admin panel. We will investigate genuine technical errors, but this does not constitute a refund right.
We will only address cases where:
- Payment was successfully processed by Stripe
- Points were not added to your account due to a technical error
- You report the issue within 48 hours of the transaction
7. Legal Rights
This no-refunds policy does not affect your statutory rights under consumer protection laws where refunds cannot be lawfully excluded. However, as digital content that is delivered immediately upon purchase, your right to cancel under distance selling regulations is waived upon purchase.
8. Consumer Protection Notice (UK)
Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you normally have a 14-day cooling-off period for online purchases. However, this right does NOT apply when:
- Digital content is supplied immediately with your consent
- You acknowledge that you will lose your right to cancel
By clicking "Purchase" or "Pay Now," you:
- Consent to immediate delivery of digital content (points/status)
- Acknowledge that you are waiving your right to cancel
- Accept that the transaction is final and non-refundable
9. Exceptions
The ONLY circumstances where we may consider a refund or credit:
- Duplicate charges due to a technical error on our end (not multiple intentional purchases)
- Service is permanently discontinued within 7 days of your purchase
- Required by law or court order
Even in these cases, refunds are granted at our sole discretion.
